This is the second, and last year that the tomato and cucumber starter plants that i purchased from the iowa city location are not producing. They're planted in an established, well drained, tilled and fertilized in ground garden. I won't be back.

Hey I just want to let you guys know that I bought a Jalepeno plant this past Sunday and it has a colony of aphids :( I’m praying it didn’t infect my whole garden Otherwise a very nice store

Earl May never disappoints. I've been plant ans accessory shopping at various Earl May stores for over 50 years. Just come here. They WILL have what you need.

We went to Earl May yesterday, Dec. 19, to find a tree for Christmas, and purchased an absolutely beautiful tree from their lot that is still fresh and fragrant! They kindly cut off a bit of the trunk so that can drink the water and stay fresh longer. With good cheer they bundled it up and put it in our car and it is even prettier at home than it appeared on the lot. Great shape, full branches, and beautiful top that touches our ceiling. It is late in the season for getting a tree and the pickings were slim (and scraggly) elsewhere. Thank you Earl May and Happy Holidays to all of your great staff!

So thrilled with the service I received at Earl May today! This beauty was in one hanging pot for $40. I explained I was looking for 3 philodendrons to fill up this cascading planter and asked if she thought I could get away with splitting it up. She looked carefully at it and then offered to split it in 3 for me right there at the counter! She was so patient and delicate with it and I’m totally in love with the result! Your staff deserve a massive kudos— that’s the kind of service that guarantees I will be back!
